| The International BSA Rally is an annual event, with | ||||
| a National or State BSA Club as host. | ||||
| In 2001, we hosted the 38th. And what a great event | ||||
| it was. On the road, in the bar, partying on with | ||||
| Beezer Geezers, fanatics, enthusiasts, family, | ||||
| friends or whatever, a top time was had. | ||||
| Enormous effort is involved to organise and | ||||
| coordinate the event. Participation of local, | ||||
| interstate and international BSA people made the | ||||
| 2001 International Rally. For the Australian Rally, | ||||
| every international guest had to sea freight their | ||||
| machine, even the New Zealanders. | ||||
| Our Club provided assistance in Australia with | ||||
| unloading and local road permits etc. International | ||||
| visitors' home Clubs coordinated their group's | ||||
| freight from their end. It is this sort of cooperation | ||||
| that makes an event like the International Rally a | ||||
| success. | ||||
| Most international visitors made a month of it. | ||||
| A Summer Camp is held when the International Rally | ||||
| is in the Southern Hemisphere. | ||||
