| The Concours d'Elegance, held at the Hanging Rock picnic racecourse, near Woodend, was the event of the rally. Reportedly, in excess of 200 BSA machines were exhibited. | |||
| Triples were the most numerous with the 1964 P1(750 Triple) prototype, the star. The P1, faithfully restored and owned by the Trident and Rocket 3 Owners Club (UK), is normally on display at the London Motorcycle Museum. Recently registered on its original number plates, the P1 was accompanied by some TR3OC members from the UK, who brought their own bikes. | |||
| Next to the P1, a local Triumph Bandit prototype. This 350 cc DOHC twin cylinder machine is registered and regularly ridden. | |||
| The singles were lead by a respectable line up of Gold Stars. BSA twins of all configurations were in abundance. | |||
| The "early girlies" from early last century were well represented in their various engine configurations; singles, twins and v-twins. | |||
| The on and off road racing departments were well represented. Rob North framed Rocket 3's, outfits, singles . . . . | |||
| The event was not only restricted to two wheels. There were a number of outfits spanning the decades. The BSA car was an unusual sight in this country. | |||
